Elderflower Sour
Everything you love about a sour, but with the light, sophisticated floral notes of elderflower. This Elderflower Sour puts a NEFT twist on a classic. The cocktail is made with NEFT Vodka and elderflower water (instead of an elderflower-flavored spirit), and the quality of these ingredients really shine in the drink. Lemon juice adds a bright acidity, balanced by a bit of sweet simple syrup. The egg white transforms the cocktail into a sour, creating a smooth, silky texture perfect for sipping.
Ingredients
1.75 oz NEFT Vodka
.75 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz egg whites
.5 oz simple syrup
3 dashes elderflower water
dash of Angostura bitters
Directions
Dry shake all ingredients in shaker tin vigorously, then add ice and shake vigorously again.
Double strain into martini glass. Garnish with Angostura pinwheel and lemon twist.
